Dee Why Dental has been caring for Northern Beaches smiles since 1998. Located inside the Dee Why Grand Commercial Tower at 834 Pittwater Rd, we provide a full range of general, cosmetic and orthodontic dental services for families, individuals and children across Dee Why, Brookvale, Manly, Freshwater, Collaroy and the wider Northern Beaches.
Over more than two decades, we have built lasting relationships with patients across multiple generations, from children having their first dental visit to adults who have trusted us with their oral health for years. Our approach is straightforward: thorough, honest dentistry delivered with genuine care for each patient's long-term wellbeing.
Meet The Team
Dr Natalie Chung | Principal Dentist
Dr Natalie Chung founded Dee Why Dental in 1998 and has been the practice's principal dentist since. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney and has spent her entire career serving the Northern Beaches community.
Dr Natalie has particular interest and experience in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontics and dental implants. She is a certified Invisalign provider and has completed advanced training in implant dentistry and smile design. Her philosophy is to provide treatment that is both clinically excellent and genuinely suited to each patient's needs, lifestyle and budget.
Outside the clinic, Dr Natalie is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
Dr Melissa Chung | Dentist
Dr Melissa Chung joined Dee Why Dental in 1999 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. She also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney.
Dr Melissa has built a large and loyal family patient base over her career, with a strong focus on preventive dentistry and long-term oral health. Many of her patients have been seeing her for decades, and she now looks after multiple generations of the same families. Her calm, thorough approach puts patients of all ages at ease.
Chloe Choi | Oral Health Therapist
Chloe Choi is our Oral Health Therapist, having graduated from the University of Sydney's Oral Health Therapy program. Oral Health Therapists are university-trained clinicians registered with AHPRA, qualified to provide dental hygiene and preventive care for both children and adults.
Chloe specialises in children's dentistry and preventive care, and plays an important role in helping young patients build positive habits and healthy smiles from an early age. She provides professional cleans, fluoride treatments, fissure sealants, oral hygiene instruction and preventive assessments.

All treating clinicians at Dee Why Dental are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and are members of the Australian Dental Association (ADA). We adhere to the ADA's Code of Professional Conduct and all relevant infection control and sterilisation standards.

We invest in technology that makes diagnosis more accurate and treatment more comfortable. Our practice is equipped with:
iTero digital scanner — 3D intraoral scanning for Invisalign treatment planning and restorative work, eliminating the need for traditional impressions
OPG (Orthopantomogram) X-ray — full-mouth panoramic imaging for comprehensive diagnostics and treatment planning
CEREC — chairside CAD/CAM technology for same-visit ceramic crowns, inlays and onlays
Digital X-rays — lower radiation than conventional X-rays, with instant on-screen imaging
Invisalign at Dee Why Dental
Dee Why Dental is a certified Invisalign provider. We use the iTero Element scanner to create a precise 3D model of your teeth and generate a ClinCheck treatment preview, so you can see your projected result before committing to treatment.
Accepting New Patients
We welcome new patients from across the Northern Beaches. All major health funds are accepted and HICAPS is available on-site, so you only pay the gap on the day. Online booking is available 24/7 via our website, or call us on 02 9971 4555.

We accept all major health funds and provide on-the-spot claims through HICAPS, with payment plans available for orthodontic treatments—just ask our staff for details.
